Hope Church is a local church in Kathmandu, but with a national vision and global mandate to fulfill the call of God. It strives to be a living church that gives birth to another living church. Our prayer, desire and dream is to pioneer new churches with pure hands and sincere hearts. We aim to produce churches that will meet the needs of the local communities and shine the love of God to their neighbors.
Jasmintar Church pastored by Hari Adhikari: Hari has been in the mission field for the last
five years. He is married and has two sons. He has gone through terrible persecution and sufferings for the cause of Christ. But he is willing to lay down his life and the Lord has blessed his ministry with a lively rural church. From here, we have several other villages that we aim to reach. The Lord has provided a suitable house in a perfect location for all the villagers. Along with the house we also have an agricultural field so that the pastor's family can cultivate and grow food for themsleve. From a handful of believers who were severly persecuted, God did a wonderful work and today most of those who persecuted them either have come to the church and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ or have suffered the hand of God in their lives

This was last year summer; 14 of them took baptism in the muddy river. it was a wonderful time of celebration. When Peter spoke on the day of Pentecost that the promise is for the far off as well, we wonder if he would have ever imagined a place like this in the remotest part of Nepal.
As we stood in the river bank and sang our songs of glory to the lamb of God who took away our sins; our hearts were filled with joy in spite of the hardship of rural life. Awy from the hussles and bussels of the city life and on top of that, with the believers who are so sincere in their faith makes pilgrims progress a simple story.

Sindhuli Church pastored by Gan Bahadur Tamang: He is a young man who found the Lord. After graduating from a Bible College, he went to his home town to pioneer a new church. First he won his entire family to the Lord and then started the church. It’s a growing congregation and has needs. But the Lord is blessing. 13 people were baptized in one day in the month of July. We are also planning to open a christian hostel in this town so that the children from the rural villages can come and live and study in a Christian environment where they will be tought to build strong mind as well as character. At present the church does not have its own permanent place of worship and that is why we are not able to go ahead with the children's hostel. We thank God that he gospel is going through the high ways and by ways. Among these thirteen people who were baptized, the pastor's parents were also there.

Jarayotar Church pastored by Dilip Shrestha: Dilip was the first person to be sent from our church as the pioneer. He did very well and the Lord used this brother to birth our first daughter church in Sindhuli District. Now this church is self-supported and is about to birth other new churches. It is our dream to begin such congregations where the believers would be courageous to stand on their own feet and be willing to laydown their lives for the sake of the gospel. Dilip is married and has three daughters. We need to pray for this brother so that he will not be discouraged when life becomes hard in the face of so many difficulties.

We are praying for a church in each of the major cities of Nepal. Some of the major cities that we wish to see a church started are; Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Pokhara, Biratnagar, Dharan, Janakpur, Birgunj, Butwal, Bhairawa, Nepalganj, Birendranagar, Dhangadi, Mahendranagar, Dipayal. Our aim is to see one church in each of these cities to share the love of God and show the way of salvation in Jesus Christ.
