Mission

We are a community of people who believe in the God of the Bible.  This God has chosen us in Nepal as Nepali citizens to worship him as we are and take that message to every possible Nepali who is in need of a savior.  We are a congregation that is evangelical in doctrine, charismatic in worship and ecuminical in fellowship with other christian brothers and sisters.

We are a ministry that began with the pioneering of Hope Church in Kathmandu and today, we are a fellowship of many churches either directly pioneered by Hope Church or have expressed their desire to belong to a fellowship of like-minded church body.  Hope Church is grateful to the Lord for this place of worship which also functions as the training center for developing the church pioneering leadership.  Hope Church houses Hope Christian College.  Hope Christian College is the grown up form of Hope Bible School that began in 2003.
Hope Church has a dynamic worshiping team comprised of young people.  Pastor Ganesh Tamang has worked hard to make this team a reality after years of hard work in training these young people.
We have separated our children's worship service right from the beginning. The groud floor serves as the educational facility where the children meet for their service and the middle floor is the main worship hall.
The sunday school has play group as well; mothers can leave their little babies to the play group and enjoy the worship and message without being worried about their babies' noise. Dedicated volunteers look after these precious little ones. After we started the Children's worship service, Hope Church has seen a tremendous change in its way of worship and quality.

We are a church pioneering fellowship.  We have four daughter churches already established and two more outstations are ready to start the formal fellowships in their locations.  Its our dream to see such congregations all across the rural Nepal where the darkness has blinded the innocent people for centuries. Brother Dilip Shrestha is one of the pastors of these fellowships and now leads the congregation for further development and growth.

Pastor Adhikari leads another congregation against all odds and we are thankful to the Lord for providing the place of worship. The power of the gospel is such that these innocent believers, who once were under the darkness, can now see the light of life.  They had been oppressed by human as well as spiritual darkness in the past, but now in Christ, they know who they are.  From the world's viewpoint, they may be classificed as living way below the poverty line, but in Christ, they have found their destiniy and their identity, not as poor, but rich in Christ who meets their every need.  Its our dream to see such congregations being planted in all such dark places where the precious people would receive the life and life in abundance by the power of the Spirit of God. Brother Adhikari and his wife will now be going to a Bible School for further training and to replace them, the Lord has prepared another brother who will take over this congregation as they plan to leave.
Pastor G. B. Tamang leads a relatively new congregation.  They have been moving from place to place to find a proper place of worship.    He is recently married, and we are praying for a suitable place of worship for this congregation.  Its located in the district headquater of the district.
In this disctrict, we have one more fellowship growing and soon we shall be needing a big place to accomodate this new church.
We want to praise God for using Hope Church in Kathmandu in bringing these brothers to Christ and then training them and sending them to these places to pioneer new churches.  It is our dream to see the mother church in Kathmandu take lead in nurturing many more such daughter churches across Nepal.
